Hi!  My name is Mrs Akehurst. I am the EYFS teacher.

 

This year is my 25th year teaching, all of which has been at Holy Souls. My fourth year in EYFS, which is fast becoming my favourite year to teach.

 

I love our little school, I think it’s a very special place.  I can’t wait to see how our little people learn, grow and change through their time with us.

 

One of my favourite things at school is Forest School.  I am a trained Forest School leader and set up our school Forest School from scratch. 

 

In my spare time I love spending time with my daughter exploring the woods and going to the seaside (regardless of the weather).  I also love going to the theatre to watch musicals.
