The Caritas in Action scheme has been produced by Salford Diocese as a response to Catholic Social Teaching, which calls us all as Catholics to work for the common good, help build a just society, uphold the dignity of human life and work for justice and the dignity of all our brothers and sisters, especially those in the greatest need.
Caritas Award December 2025
Sienna is a person who consistently goes above and beyond when it comes to helping others. On a daily basis she offers to do jobs in school, on top of the ones that she is already responsible for; she is a wonderful buddy - helping and encouraging them; she also thinks of the wider community - she made a beautiful wreath for Remembrance Day for us. When we were short staffed one lunchtime, she helped out in the lunch hall, even offering to sweep the floor! She is an excellent role model to others, being extremely kind and caring. She really does brighten everyone's day and truly deserves this special award! Congratulations Sienna and thank you for being you.

The Catholic Church has seven principles of social teaching that we share with our children through all that we do, through the curriculum, special events and activity and through our ordinary actions in school
