As a school we are aiming for our whole school attendance to be higher than 95%. Please send your child into school every day. If they say they feel unwell, please check the NHS guidance for keeping them off school (this can be found on our website under Key Information, Attendance, Absence and how to report them)

Caritas in Action Award

Caritas in Action Award - April 2025 - With the Caritas award recognising individuals who work for the common good, seek justice and stand in solidarity with those most in need, I couldn’t think of anybody other than Mikael to be presented with it this term. Mikael has recently raised money for a charity (Ummah Welfare Trust). This charity focuses on providing food bags and other essential goods for those who are currently experiencing conflict in Palestine. Through his fundraising, Mikael has managed to raise £121.44! Well done Mikael – we are so proud that you have decided to commit such a selfless act to help those most in need.

The Caritas in Action scheme has been produced by Salford Diocese as a response to Catholic Social Teaching, which calls us all as Catholics to work for the common good, help build a just society, uphold the dignity of human life and work for justice and the dignity of all our brothers and sisters, especially those in the greatest need.

St Joseph's Penny - Where your donations go

The Catholic Church has seven principles of social teaching that we share with our children through all that we do, through the curriculum, special events and activity and through our ordinary actions in school
