The Laudato Si group took part in a litter pick activity in the local area, working together to care for our common home. With great enthusiasm, the children collected 7kgs of rubbish helping to make the environment cleaner and safer for everyone. Their efforts reflected the values of stewardship, responsibility, and kindness towards creation, showing how small actions can make a big difference. The group set a wonderful example for others, reminding us all of the importance of looking after the world we share.
Litter Picking: Inspired by the message of Laudato Si’, our new group of pupils took part in a litter-picking initiative to care for the school grounds and local environment. Their actions reflect Pope Francis’ call to be "protectors of God’s creation" and to take responsibility for the world we share. With litter pickers in hand, the Laudato Si group worked with care and purpose, demonstrating a deep understanding of the importance of stewardship, community, and respect for the Earth.
