The Laudato Si group and the school Mini Vinnies went to Blackpool on the 5th February to clean up the beach as part of their work looking after 'our common home'.

They worked with Karen from Enveco - Blackpool's environmental agency- who provided the children with litter pickers and bags.

The children spent the day searching for litter on the beach and the promenade and found 4kg of rubbish including glass, plastic and metal materials.

The children were very proud of their hard work and received a certificate for all they had done.
