Caritas in Action Award

Caritas in Action Award - Summer 2024 - Saskia is someone who always puts others before herself. She is extremely polite and offers her help in any way she can - whether it is helping to carry something, helping someone with their work or helping someone who is hurt. She also makes sure that she comforts people when they are upset and makes sure that people are not left out of games when playing on the playground. Saskia embodies the phrase 'treat one another as you want to be treated' and her kindness does not go unnoticed. Congratulations Saskia!

The Caritas in Action scheme has been produced by Salford Diocese as a response to Catholic Social Teaching, which calls us all as Catholics to work for the common good, help build a just society, uphold the dignity of human life and work for justice and the dignity of all our brothers and sisters, especially those in the greatest need.

St Joseph's Penny - Where your donations go

The Catholic Church has seven principles of social teaching that we share with our children through all that we do, through the curriculum, special events and activity and through our ordinary actions in school
