As a school we are aiming for our whole school attendance to be higher than 95%. Please send your child into school every day. If they say they feel unwell, please check the NHS guidance for keeping them off school (this can be found on our website under Key Information, Attendance, Absence and how to report them)

School Council

Holy Souls School Council

What is it?

The School Council at Holy Souls consists of two pupil representatives of each class, from Reception to Year 6.  The School Council meet frequently, at least once a term, to express view and make decisions.

What we do

The School Council decide on various charity events to help locally.  Our most recent fundraising event was locally for Blackburn Foodbank.  The School Council have been invited to Blackburn Foodbank to see what happens to all the donations that they get and where they go.  We have had previous national/international fundraising events for CAFOD and CARITAS.

How to Join

Each September we elect our School Councillors.  The children have to write why they would make a good councillor and what ideas they have to put forward if they were selected.
