EARTH DAY 2026
Our Holy Souls school community came together to celebrate Earth Day, on the 22nd April, under the theme “Our Power, Our Planet,” with children taking part in a range of meaningful and engaging activities. The Laudato Si group led a thoughtful and inspiring assembly, helping everyone reflect on how we can care for our common home. They also held competitions including the creation of a home project reusing items. Throughout the day, pupils joined in whole-school tasks and class-based activities that encouraged creativity, teamwork, and environmental awareness. Many classes also tuned into the BBC Live Lesson, which brought the global importance of Earth Day to life, while Forest School sessions gave children the chance to connect directly with nature and appreciate the world around them. It was a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to understand the impact of their actions and feel empowered to make a difference.
